Water & Wastewater
Pump control and SCADA for water from source to discharge.
GATA delivers the complete water and wastewater automation stack — pump control panels, lifting-station controllers, booster sets, and SCADA — engineered to your hydraulic design and connected to the GATE platform. From clean-water intakes to sewage lifting stations, we customize the hardware, firmware, software, and IoT that keep flow steady, protect pumps from cavitation and dry running, and give operators remote visibility of every site.
Challenges we solve
Pumps fail from cavitation and dry running
Low suction pressure, dropping wet-well levels, and air ingress cause cavitation, impeller damage, and seal failure. Without proper protection, a single dry-run event can burn out a pump and stop a whole station.
Remote stations run blind
Lifting stations and borehole pumps are often scattered across a network with no operator on site. Faults, overflows, and blocked pumps go unnoticed until a complaint or a spill — and every truck roll to a remote site costs time and money.
Constant-speed pumping wastes energy
Energy is the largest running cost of any water utility, yet many stations still run pumps flat-out against a throttling valve. Fixed-speed operation, poor pressure control, and unbalanced duty/standby sequencing inflate the power bill and wear equipment unevenly.
Compliance and reporting are manual
Utilities must log flow, level, overflow events, and runtime for regulators, but data sits trapped in standalone PLCs. Pulling reports together by hand is slow, error-prone, and offers no early warning when a station drifts out of spec.
Our approach
Pump control panels with cavitation and dry-run protection
We design and build clean-water, sewage, and submersible pump control panels to your exact duty — VFD or soft-start, with level, pressure, and current sensing that detect dry running, low suction, and cavitation conditions and trip before damage. Each panel is wired, tested, and documented to your configuration.
Lifting-station and booster-set controllers
Our firmware runs duty/standby/assist sequencing, automatic pump alternation, anti-blockage cleaning cycles, and PID pressure control for booster sets — keeping wet wells, reservoirs, and pressure zones within band while balancing wear evenly across pumps.
SCADA and IoT visibility on the GATE platform
Every station streams level, flow, pressure, runtime, and alarms to GATE — GATA's IoT, cloud, and AI platform — so operators see all sites on one dashboard, get instant overflow and fault alerts, and replace blind truck rolls with informed remote response.
Predictive maintenance and energy optimization with Nebras
The Nebras AI Model learns each pump's normal signature and flags clogging, bearing wear, and efficiency loss before failure, while recommending energy-saving speed and pressure setpoints — turning runtime data into lower power bills and fewer emergency call-outs.
What you get
- Fewer pump failures and burnouts thanks to dry-run and cavitation protection on every start.
- Lower energy bills from variable-speed pumping and balanced duty/standby sequencing.
- Fewer truck rolls and faster response with remote alarms and one-dashboard visibility across all stations.
- Automated flow, level, and overflow logging that makes regulatory reporting effortless.
